Preserve
An egg freezing cycle takes approximately 2 weeks, during which time your ovaries are stimulated with medication to grow multiple mature eggs. The eggs are then retrieved by a physician during a short procedure before being frozen and stored for future use. From consult to completion, the entire process takes around 2-3 months.
Reduced pricing for subsequent cycles to reach the recommended number of frozen eggs.
Frozen in our on-site cryostorage for preservation or future treatment. Includes the first 3 months of storage complimentary.
Ongoing storage for eggs, sperm, and embryos in our on-site facilities.

Does not include reproductive counselling or sample coordination fees.
This includes physician consults, genetic counselling and testing, reproductive counselling, blood work, diagnostic testing, and complete physical exams.

Common Questions
A self-pay IVF cycle costs the same in our Toronto and Vancouver clinics. The cycle includes egg retrieval, embryology, time-lapse incubation, AI embryo evaluation, embryo freezing, and the first year of storage. Embryo transfer and medications are billed separately. See our IVF pricing above for current numbers and what’s included. Eligible Ontario patients can access funded IVF cycles at $0 with no waitlist.
An egg freezing cycle is $8,600 in Toronto, and includes your consult, monitoring, egg retrieval, freezing, the CHLOE™ AI Egg Quality (OQ) Report, and the first year of storage. Medications ($4,000 to $8,000+) and storage beyond year one ($800/year) are billed separately. Multicycle pricing is available if you need more than one cycle.
Yes. The Ontario Fertility Program (OFP) covers the IVF cycle and the transfer(s) of all resulting embryos for eligible patients. Medications, embryo storage, and optional add-ons like genetic testing are not covered. Twig has no OFP waitlist at our Toronto clinics. See our Funded IVF page for full eligibility and what’s included.
The IVF cycle at Twig includes a dedicated care team, cycle setup and coordination, an IVF check-in with a Reproductive Counsellor, all monitoring visits (bloodwork and ultrasounds), egg retrieval, sperm preparation, IVF or ICSI fertilization, extended embryo culture, time-lapse incubation, CHLOE™ Embryo Viewer access, embryo freezing, the CHLOE™ EQ Report, and the first year of embryo storage.
Medications, embryo transfer, and optional add-ons like preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) are billed separately. See the IVF service card above for current ranges. Every add-on is reviewed and confirmed with you before it is added to your cost. No mid-cycle surprises.
Your treatment plan can evolve. If your specialist recommends a different approach mid-cycle (for example, adding ICSI, converting to a freeze-all, or pausing), we walk you through the clinical reasoning and the cost implications before anything changes. You always confirm before we proceed.
Cycles can be cancelled (before retrieval) or end early (no eggs retrieved, no embryos to freeze). If a cycle is cancelled before retrieval or the retrieval happens but no embryos are created, you only pay for the services delivered up to that point. Your care team will walk you through your specific situation and any options for a follow-up cycle.
Medication costs typically range from $4,000 to $8,000 per IVF cycle, depending on your protocol, age, and ovarian reserve. For IUI and timed intercourse, medications usually run $200 to $2,000+. These ranges are typical, but your total medication cost may be higher depending on your specific protocol. Your care team will provide a personalized medication estimate before you begin.
