Andrew Thomson

Andrew Thomson is the Chief Scientific Officer at Twig Fertility, where he leads scientific strategy, laboratory standards, and innovation across the organization. He was the third reproductive scientist in the UK to be awarded Fellowships from both the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) and the Academy for Healthcare Science (FAHCS), has received an Outstanding Contribution Award recognising his impact on reproductive science and clinical practice, and is an internationally invited speaker on IVF laboratory innovation and best practices. Over his career, he has designed and developed IVF laboratories across four continents, supporting clinics worldwide in adopting cutting edge technologies and optimizing workflows.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys travelling and embracing the cultures and cuisines of the cities his work takes him. In the past year alone, he travelled over 200,000 km for work!
